Students that participate in the College and Career Technical Education Pathway offerings at Summit High School prepare for college, career and beyond with opportunities to earn industry certificates, network with business partners, receive college credits, and compete in numerous industry standard state and national competitions including Skills USA and Cyber Patriot.

Our SkyHawks compete & win in the following competitions!       

Cyber Patriot Competition Results:

In 2019-2020, all 4 of our teams moved onto the State Championship Round. The STEMettes and our Varsity Guys made it to the “Platinum” Tier, and both with combined scores hundreds of points higher than any team at Summit has ever obtained! Our two JV squads also scored extremely well and both made the “Gold” tier this year.

This accomplishment has never been achieved by any first year teams at Summit! We are proud of our SkyHawks!

Skills USA Competition Results:

In 2020, we had an astonishing 28 students medal and 53 students qualify for the State Competition!

SkyHawks competed in the following categories: Advertising Design, Automotive Service Technology, CNC Milling Specialist, CNC Technician, Computer Programing, Business/Customer Service, Cyber Security, Entrepreneurship/Shark Tank, Information Technology Service, Interactive Application and Video Game Development, Internetworking, Introductory Advertising Design, Job Interview, Mechatronics, Photography, Pin Design, Robotics Search & Rescue, Television Video Production, T-shirt Design, Web Design, Additive/Manufacturing, 3D Printing.
