      • Welcome to the one and only Summit High School National Honor Society!

    “Are you one of Summit High Schools brightest Sophomores or Juniors?  Do you have a current cumulative un-weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher?  Do you enjoy helping others in your community?  If you answered yes to those questions perhaps Summit High Schools National Honor Society is for you.”

    2023-2024 School Year New Members

        • We are NOT currently accepting new applications for the Spring 2023 semester, but you may apply during the Fall 2024 School Year.
        • All future Sophomore, & Juniors that meet the requirements may apply during the Fall 2024 School Year, starting on August 5, 2024.
        • In preparation for next year, you can download the NHS Application (it is located to the left under files).
          • You will need to print out the application along with a printout of your current cumulative overall unweighted GPA, which you will attach to your application.
          • Additionally, you will need to download and print out 4 of the teacher recommendation form (The file is located to the left).
        • The Deadline for the fall 2024 applications is Friday, August 16th, and you may start turning in your fall applications beginning on August 5th, 2024.
        • Once your application has been received, you will receive an invitation to attend a lunch interview where your will be asked about your character, leadership, service, and academics.  Thes interviews will be held during the weeks of August 26th – September 6th.

     

    2023-2024 Returning NHS Members!

    Welcome back returning NHS members!  In order to stay active in the club you will need to fill out a NHS request to return & Service Proposal (Found to the left under the documents), & a print out of your current overall cumulative unweighted GPA.

    • You can find a form for your NHS service project hours to the left of this page. 

     

    NHS Meeting Dates for Spring 2024

    “Students must attend the mandatory final meeting, and at least 2 other meeting during meetings during the Spring 2024 Semester in order to be considered eligible & an active member of the club.”  These meetings will be held in room H-109 afterschool from 3:30 - 4:00.

        • 2/6: Transcript, request to return, & service project proposal DUE
