DHIA Community and Families,

We are happy to share with you that you have helped us take the #1 spot in attendance for our district for the first five months of school this year. As you know, attendance is extremely important. Our rigorous Dual Language and International Baccalaureate programs are very demanding and when our scholars are absent, they miss a lot of in-class instruction. Thank you for bringing your children every day and working with us when they need to be absent.

Our scholars are doing a fantastic job on meeting their reading goals. Check out our website or ParentSquare posts to see how our scholars are doing. You can also sign up for updates on your child’s reading progress through AR by signing up through Renaissance.

We want to thank PTO for all their hard work and dedication. They have helped with field trips and events. It is wonderful to partner with PTO to bring special events to our scholars. Some of our grade levels have already had the opportunity to participate in a field trip this year. We are looking forward to our next family events that we have planned for the remainder of the year.
