Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is my pleasure to kick off my 10^th year in our community. We are excited to welcome your children back as we gear to prepare them for the necessary skills needed for college and career. This year our K-5 teachers kicked off the year early by attending a 3-day summer training for AVID. Our teachers have agreed on grade level structures for AVID strategies to help accomplish these goals. It is an exciting time as we develop lifelong learners and motivate them to explore fascinating careers that might not yet exist. In addition, we will continue to support STEM education through the use of our stem room. Our students have the opportunity to visit the stem room and engage in a variety of lessons with their teachers.

In addition, it is important that we work together to help our children succeed. We strive hard to build a program to support all learners. It is important that you sign up for parent square and continue to ask questions to keep open communication with our office and teachers. All questions are important.

We have programs in place to support social emotional learning. We have implemented a character counts education and regularly visit the pillars of character. Our counselor will be using motivational rewards to engage our students.
