We are very excited to introduce a house sytem at Almond Elemetnary.  The house system provides several benefits for all the schoalrs and staffulty. Firstly, it fosters a family atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging among both students and staffulty. It facilitates cross-grade interaction, allowing older scholars to mentor younger ones, which promotes leadership development. Moreover, the system incentivizes positive behavior through house points, making doing the right thing desirable and cool. Importantly, these house points serve as a form of positive behavior reinforcement and are awarded freely, enhancing the overall experience and culture within the school community.

Taken from the four houses in Harry Potter, each scholar and staffulty member will be placed in a house.  Each house will meet twice a month creating solid connections with one another.  We have also taken houses and created an acronym to give each its own purpose and personality.
