Dr. Alejandro B. Lopez
Principal
Dr. Lopez was born in Culiacan, Mexico and grew up in Baldwin Park, California. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCI, a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration, and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Psychology with a PPS from Cal State San Bernardino. Dr. Lopez also earned his Ph.d in Urban Leadership from Claremont Graduate University.
Dr. Lopez has been in education for 17 years as a teacher, Dual Language Program Specialist, and school administrator. As a former Harvey Mudd Upward Bound Student, Dr. Lopez seeks to contribute in helping underrepresented students secure postsecondary education. In his (limited) spare time, he enjoys hanging out with family and restoring his classic cars.
Dr. Lopez has been the Principal of Primrose Elementary School since 2012.
