Dr. Patricia Corral

Principal

Dr. Corral was born in Los Angeles and grew up in San Gabriel Valley. After graduating from Chino Hills High School, she attended Cal Poly Pomona where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, with a minor in Spanish. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Education Administration from Cal State San Bernardino. She earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California, USC.

Before she had even completed her teaching credential, she began her career in the educational profession as a bilingual community liaison and instructional assistant in the middle and high school setting. When she graduated from college she went to work for East Whittier City School District as a kindergarten teacher. She taught kindergarten, third and fourth grade at Cucamonga School District as well as an English Learner Resource Teacher, Title I Reading Intervention & Teaching Vice Principal.

In 2014, she excitedly came to ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ where she has proudly worked as the school principal at Live Oak Elementary School.  When she is not at work, you can find her spending time with her husband, three children, one cat and one dog. Dr. Corral is passionate about education. She encourages those around her to be their best and follow their dreams. Mr. Salvador Rodriguez

Assistant Principal

Mr. Rodriguez embarked on his educational journey in 2004, initially as a substitute teacher within the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. His dedication to education led him to teach Mathematics and Engineering in the Pomona Unified School District in 2005. Following 15 years of teaching, he made the pivotal decision to transition into the realm of school administration. In 2019, he assumed the role of Assistant Principal, overseeing both Almond and Live Oak Elementary and now Primrose Elementary. 

A proud immigrant from Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico, Mr. Rodriguez made his home in Bell Gardens, CA, before settling in the vibrant city of Fontana. In 2001, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, later enhancing his qualifications with a Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University.

Mr. Rodriguez is a devoted family man, happily married with four remarkable children. His lovely wife is an elementary school teacher at Cypress Elementary, while all his children have been educated within the ÂãÁÄÖ±²¥. His eldest child graduated from UCR, and his first twin graduated from UC Berkeley and the other attended Cal State San Bernardino . The youngest of the four is currently attending Cal State San Bernardino and wants to be a primary teacher like her mother.

With an unwavering commitment to his community as an educational leader, Mr. Rodriguez's philosophy is straightforward: "Kids first!" He consistently expresses his profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve a dedicated group of teachers who wholeheartedly nurture and educate our children, recognizing them as true heroes.

In his role as your school's Assistant Principal, Mr. Rodriguez feels truly honored and humbled to be part of your children's lives, emphasizing that it is he who is privileged to share in their educational journey.
