With a strong educational background, including a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's degree in leadership and management, she brings a unique combination of academic expertise and leadership experience to our institution. Mrs. Knight's extensive journey within the educational system, holding various roles in the district, has provided her with valuable insights into the field, making her an exceptional choice as our principal.

As a member of the Fontana community and being a dedicated parent of two children, Mrs. Knight possesses a deep understanding of the students' diverse needs and challenges. This understanding fuels her commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment at Southridge, where every student can thrive. Her empathetic approach, coupled with a passion for excellence and innovation, drives her determination to make a positive impact on the lives of students and the entire school community. Matt Vaudrey is an experienced educator embarking on his third year as Assistant Principal at Southridge Tech. With a distinguished 15-year career in the field of Education, he has served in various capacities, including as a Math Teacher, Instructional Coach, and Dean. Throughout his career, Mr. Vaudrey has exhibited versatility by imparting knowledge to students across a wide range of age groups, from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Additionally, he possesses a unique skill set, having even taught a drumline class, showcasing his passion for music and innovative teaching methods. Residing in Fontana with his spouse and three children, Mr. Vaudrey finds joy in engaging in outdoor activities, indulging in video games, and participating in intellectually stimulating pursuits.

It is worth noting that he has earned the distinction of being Google Certified, harnessing his expertise to amplify the effectiveness of his work as a Microsoft showcase school. This fusion of certifications underscores his commitment to staying at the forefront of educational technology, ultimately benefiting the students and colleagues he works with.
