Electronic Device Policy

  • Education Code 48901.5 – Electronic Devices:

The governing board of each school district, or its designee, may regulate the possession or use of any electronic signaling device that operates through the transmission or receipt of radio waves, including, but not limited to, paging and signaling equipment, by pupils of the school district while the pupils are on campus, while attending school-sponsored activities, or while under the supervision and control of school district employees.

Unauthorized use of an electronic device will cause the item to be confiscated and taken to Security Office A108..

Once in class, all electronic communication devices MUST be in their case or otherwise concealed and turned off or placed on silent (NOT vibrate) mode from the 1st tardy bell to the end of the school day. This includes earphones/headphones. Failure to abide by these instructions will result in the item/s being confiscated.

IF WE HEAR IT, SEE IT, OR IF YOU USE IT, YOU LOSE IT!

Failure to do either of these will result in the item being confiscated.
