    CODE OF ETHICS

    The CODE OF ETHICS WAS due on or before August 17, 2023, signed by both parent and student. seniors that do not follow the code of conduct/senior contract may lose their activities and will not be refunded.

    Book and laptop return

    We encourage all seniors to turn in any textbooks they are not using. textbooks can be turned in to the library during regular school hours. any fONTANA UNIFIED textbook/LIBRARY BOOKS may be returned to the jhhs library.

    turning in textbooks early will expedite your senior check-out experience.

     

    Laptops will be turned in during senior check-out. You must turn in your laptop and charger. Reminder: remove any stickers that may be on your laptop or you rishK being charged a fine for any stickers.

     

    LAST DAY TO PAY FEES

    CHECKS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. only cash IS accepted to pay for activities or fees after this date. No senior will be able to participate in graduation activities if he/she/THEY owe fees for: library books/fines, textbooks, clubs, sports, and/or other school charges.

    SENIOR CHECK OUT/CAP & GOWN PICKUP

    SENIOR CHECKOUT/CAP & GOWN PICKUP takes place THURSDAY, MAY 16, 2024. Senior Check out will be held in the GYM. Please come to the GYM at the time that correlates with the first letter of your last name.

    GRAD NIGHT-DISNEYLAND

    DISNEYLAND GRAD NIGHT takes place on FRIDAY, MAY 17 and 18 2024. The event is for jhhs Class of 2024 graduates only, no guests or non-grads can attend. TICKET SALES ARE CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.

     

    Seniors who purchased a Grad night ticket must have all fees paid in order to turn in a Grad night behavior contract. A Grad night behavior contract must be turned in to the bookkeeper between may 1-10 in order to get a bus assignment.

     

    All Grad night participants must ride the bus to and from the park. Graduates attending Grad night must BE AT jURUPA hILLS HIGH SCHOOL AT 6:15 AM for security check AND to BOARD THE BUSSES. Grad night ends at 2:00 a.m. Buses will return to JURUPA HILLS High School between 4:00a.m. - 4:30a.m. on SATURDAY, May 18, 2024.

     

    **ANY STUDENT THAT IS FOUND WITH ANY CONTRABAND MATERIALS WILL LOSE THEIR PRIVILEGES, NOT RECEIVE A REFUND, AND WILL BE ASKED TO BE PICKED-UP AT THEIR GUARDIANS EXPENSE. THERE MAY BE LEGAL CITATIONS GIVEN MY SCHOOL POLICE AND/OR ANAHEIM POLICE***

     

    Photo ID is required for all graduates attending Grad night; disneyland will not let you in. DO NOT FORGET YOUR ID

    NOTE:  We currently have 3 Grad Nite tickets to Disneyland available for purchase.  If you are a senior that did not get a chance to purchase one, you still can, but it is first come, first get!  Tickets are $300 or $275 with ASB Card

    BUS SIGN-UPS WILL TAKE PLACE ON 

    MONDAY, MAY 13 and TUESDAY, MAY 14 from 7:30-8:15 and during both lunches in Room G103

     

    ANY STUDENT THAT DOES NOT SIGN-UP FOR A BUS AND/OR BRING BOTH CLEARANCE FORMS WILL NOT BE GIVEN A BUS NUMBER UNTIL THEY DO SO.​
    TICKETS ARE NOT DISTRIBUTED UNTIL STUDENTS ARE ON THE BUSSES BECAUSE WE DO NOT WANT THEM TO GET LOST.  ​
    WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE DISNEYLAND APP TO YOUR PHONE.  YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SYNC YOUR TICKET TO YOUR APP IN CASE YOU LOSE IT.  

    SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT

    On MONDAY, May 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., graduates will be honored at the SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT in the GYM. This is a special evening that honors seniors receiving scholarships, grants, and awards. THIS IS A FORMAL EVENT. STUDENTS ATTENDING MUST DRESS IN FORMAL ATTIRE. Please encourage your parents, family, and teachers to attend this event. No tickets are needed for this event. STUDENTS THAT ARE RECEIVING AWARDS WILL BE FORMALLY INVITED.

     

    SENIOR BREAKFAST

    SENIOR BREAKFAST IS AN OPTIONal EVENT FOR ALL SENIORS THAT QUALIFY (SENIOR CONTRACT IS UPHELD). BREAKFAST WILL BE HELD AT DAVE AND BUSTERS IN the ONTARIO MILLS MALL ON TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2024, FROM 8-11 AM.

     

    ONLY SENIORS ARE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT (NO FAMILY OR OUTSIDE GUESTS). SENIORS CAN PURCHASE TICKETS TO THE SENIOR BREAKFAST THROUGH THE AS BOOKKEEPER. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED. TICKETS INcLUDE BREAKFAST, GAME CARD of $15, AND UNLIMITED ARCADE PLAY FOR THE ENTIRE DAY USING THE GAME CARD. THE ARCADE GAMES ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE GAMES THAT GIVE TICKETS.

    GRADUATION PRACTICES

    Graduates must attend BOTH graduation practices in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Seniors onlY. no guests or parents are allowed at practices

     

    GRADUATION PRACTICE #1 will be held on MONDAY, MAY 20, 2024, in the JHHS GYM FROM 8:00 a.m.-11:30a.m. STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE THEIR SEAT FOR GRADUATION THIS DAY. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

    GRADUATION PRACTICE #2 will be held at the Toyota Arena on WEDNESDAY, May 22, 2024  FROM 6:30 am-9:00 am. STUDENTS MUST BE ON TIME! TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED

     

    GRADUATION CEREMONY

    The GRADUATION CEREMONY will be held on WEDNESDAY, May 22, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., at the Toyota Arena located at

    4000 E. Ontario Center Parkway, Ontario, California 91764.

     

    • Doors will open for spectators at 3:30 p.m.
    • No outside food/beverage may be brought into the venue.
    • No LARGE PURSES OR BAGS, balloons, flowers, gifts, NOISE-MAKERS/horns, or other outside items are allowed. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RETURN THEM TO YOUR VEHICLE OR SURRENDER THEM AT THE DOOR. THERE WILL BE GRADUATION ITEMS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE THROUGH THE ARENA
    • ALL GUESTS 2 YEARS AND OLDER MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE EVENT
    • PARKING IS $10.00/VEHICLE
    • At 3:00 p.m., all seniors must report to the backstage area of the arena and be prepared to line-up. Seniors must be in Graduation Dress Code in order to walk at the Graduation Ceremony. Seniors will be asked to open their gowns to verify they are in dress code.
    • ONLY SCHOOL ISSUED REGALIA FROM EITEHR THE AWARDS CEREMONY OR THE CLUBS THEY ARE MEMBERS OF AT JURUPA HILLS HIGH SCHOOL MAY BE WORN
    • CAPS MAY BE DECORATED BUT MUST ADHERE TO THE RULES
      • *RULES WILL BE POSTED AT A LATER DATE

     

    GRADUATION TICKETS

    GRADUATION TICKETS are required to attend the Graduation Ceremony. Every student will receive six (6) graduation tickets at no cost.

    Additional tickets will be sold for $5 CASH ONLY AND CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE ASB BOOKKEEPER. PURCHASED TICKETS WILL BE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ONCE TICKETS ARE PURCHASED.

    TICKET Distribution:

    • PURCHASED TICKETS WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE
    • May 16: Distribution of SIX (6) free tickets at Senior Check-Out.

     

    DIPLOMA PICK UP

    DIPLOMAS can ONLY be picked up on THURSDAY, MAY 23 AND FRIDAY, MAY 24, from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the FRONT OFFICE. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID ID IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR DIPLOMA.

     

    ANY SENIOR THAT NEEDS TO TURN IN THEIR STOLL MUST DO SO IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEIR DIPLOMA.

    Parking Permit Information 

    If you are a student that drives to school, you will need to apply for a parking permit and purchase one.

    Please report to the security office (1st floor administration) for a parking permit packet.

    You will be required to show proof of license, vehicle registration, and insurance.

    Permits are FREE and you must have your vehicle registered.   

    Multiple family vehicles can be registered, but students must have a parking permit displayed when parking in the student lot during regular school hours.
